When I wake up, 

every morning it's a drifferent day. 

Every morning, people always say, 

something that's never really the same. 

I lift up my head and I hang it low, 

not knowing what today will hold. 

The pain I feel, is the pain no one should ever know. 

Yet I'm happy, as I open my window, the light pours in. 

With in me, my feelings of sorrow melt away. 

Happines fills my mind, 

the thought of life, 

the joy just to be alive.

But who am I to stay away? 

Lay in bed, all threw the night and every day? 

I could cry, and yes it's easier, to just die. 

Yet here I am today, 

singing a song I have wrote, of pure hope.

No one should of feel, this way. 

The way I feel in this moment, 

I hope all can realize it's true. 

I love the light even when the darkness surrounds me.

yet everyone eventually dies. 

So please understand, 

I won't cry- during the day, I'll only sigh. 

I may cry myself to sleep, 

yet when I awaken, I sigh of releif.
